  Property was very welcoming and comfortable and evidences considerable thought having been given to the enjoyment and needs of visitors. Parking provision is excellent and the property is ideally placed to access many places of interest, whether on foot or by car. We were also highly impressed with the standard of many restaurants and tearooms close by. Joe provided lots of helpful information in advance and kept in touch to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction.

  Room was clean and had comfy pillows Quiet location While the checkin time window was relatively short, the host was helpfully able to organise a later arrival time for me. She was friendly and welcoming. For the price I felt this place was very good value. Recommended.

  Lee is a lovely host, very friendly and helpful 😊 the house is in an ideal spot, close to the seafront and perfect for the things we had got planned. Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely and clean. Lee makes a very good breakfast 😋 👌

  The decor was pleasant and it was conveniently located for the centre of the village.

  We experienced multiple issues with this property, including a broken kettle, broken shower slide which meant the shower head was too low even for our 11-year-old, a broken sofa bed that couldn’t be used as a double as advertised because the locking catches were missing or hanging off so the extendable part just slid away, and a broken latch on one French door meaning it couldn’t be opened. The owner replaced the kettle but made no effort to fix or compensate us for the other broken facilities. The advertised “city view” was a dirty car yard/refuse area with barbed wire and accumulated rubbish in piles around the property, and a view of the supermarket car park. There was considerable noise from rubbish trucks emptying glass bottles from 7am and an extractor fan or suchlike from the neighbouring car mechanics that started up at regular intervals and whirred incredibly loudly for about 10 minutes each time. There were light bulbs missing in the kitchen and the bulb in the utility cupboard was also gone, and the coffee table shown in the pictures was missing. We didn’t use the oven but the knobs seemed very loose so I suspect also wouldn’t work properly. The sheet on the bed was too small for the mattress so kept coming off in one corner, and the bed was quite lumpy. Very disappointing considering the price per night.
