It was a well thought out property in a central location. Although well decorated and furnished unfortunately I hadn't expected it to be so dark. There were no windows in the bedroom or kitchen which I didn't pick up from the listing. Having said that it was very clean and easily accessible with off road parking. Small detail - a pint of milk would have been appreciated to make a cup of tea when we first arrived.

What a beautiful hotel - newly renovated and redecorated. It was immaculate and the room was extremely spacious overlooking the countryside. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing and huge portions - my husband and I have big appetites but neither of us could finish our meals. It was a perfect stay and if ever we are in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

The property is a lovely stone cottage that links closely with my heritage and profession. It was close by the local pub and near to the airport so was very practical. The host was lovely and welcoming as well as thoughtful and provided a clean cosy room

The Waterloo is comfortable but not special and being in Betws the prices are high for the area. Our room was clean and well equipped and the staff were lovely.

There’s 2 things, the access is up a number of steps and a spiral staircase. The other thing is endemic to Dartmouth and is the issue of parking. Yes the ark and ride is there to be used but they’ve stopped the courtesy bus and you have to get the normal bus. Don’t let these picky items put you off, if we’re honest there’s always something you have to live with.
