The staff are diligent and welcoming. The rooms are bright ,modern,spacious and beds very comfortable. The pub food is always delicious and Daphne cooks the best breakfast-fresh and plentiful using quality ingredients.

The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect - very central, but not very noisy, although we could hear the trains from the nearby train station quite clearly at night.

I booked the room for two adults and one child aged 11. I was allocated a room with one double bed only, meaning that one of us had to sleep on the floor.

Very friendly staff. Lovely house and grounds to explore. Interesting museum. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. We were informed beforehand that no evening meal would be available. However, the bar was open.

Difficult to walk to from terminal, there were no physical menus in the room, not sure what(if any) food was available after 11pm. The staff didn’t seem to know where we should be to order food when we arrived at 9pm. We got sent between bar and restaurant twice.

Late check in. Difficult to engage with desk staff with huge customer facing self check in screens in front of me. Couldn't use the pool because not allowed to leave our dog unattended in the room. (£25 for the dog) Told to go to pool separately! Room was OK but peeling paint and wallpaper. Decor throughout very tired/shabby Most of the menu was off when we were there.
