Staff were welcoming with a friendly smile, very helpful & knowledgeable of the area. Booked taxis for us Reception, restaurant/bar, and communal areas were lovely, airy, fresh, and clean We had a meal in the restaurant and it was very nice, good prices Great location for using as a base and to literally just shower, change, go out, return, and sleep Like that towels were provided aswell as soap, shampoo/body-wash. Handy hair dryer complete with wall mirror next to it Large full length mirror was very handy Door keys are very easy to use Like the idea that you have until 12 noon to check out instead of 9 or 10 am as some other hotels do Free on-site parking with plenty of spaces Grounds kept nice and tidy

The first impression was that the room was dated and rather small. Only 1 medium-sized towel each and would maybe be better to provide a bath sheet size, especially to accommodate larger people No handrails for getting in and out of shower/bath, the non-slip area wasn't very non-slip, shower itself was terrible, and water wasn't a constant easy flow as if the shower head needed a clean or replacing No air con, so room was very hot even with the window open all night. Wall light fittings had cobwebs inside the shade that looked like they had been there a while Beds were uncomfortable as we could feel the springs and would suggest mattresses be replaced as and when possible

Room was spacious and clean very comfortable, very quiet. Despite stag & doe events in the hotel apart from lounge hotel was amazingly quiet.Location to train station and metro was great.Brian at front desk was amazing and made us feel like we owned the place, don't know what he earns but he should have a raise.

Great way to experience Cambridge: Very centrally located; one can explore most of Jesus College’s premises and enjoy a nice traditional English breakfast at the dining hall

I booked a ONE BEDROOM flat but it is a studio they sell on Booking.com as one bedroom. When I pointed it out to the female manager and asked if we could move to a proper one bedroom flat - which was advertised -for our 14 day period - on booking.com she said there is a mistake and it is not available. We were willing to pay if there was a difference in price. I checked and asked the next day and same story. I think she is very obstructive and was not going to accommodate us. Raymond and Sumit were on the other hand very helpful and moved us to a studio with a better layout.

They are pet friendly.. then they charge you £35 for a small dog.. which is disgraceful.. room was only £65 then they add £35 for the dog.. then they get absolutely nothing for it.. no bed, no bowl etc.. which is horrendous if your charging that amount. They only give you 2 teabags as well.

On entering the apartment ( basement). There was a strong odour, On inspection, even though the bedding looked as though it had been washed, I found holes in the bedding that resembled, holes that had been made by cigarettes . I found grease down the side of the cooker and stale food on the floor. I'm asthmatic so unfortunately for me the odour got to strong and began to effect my chest and cause me pain, so I contacted my company and found alternative accommodation.
