Amazing location in a great building with very tall ceilings, everything we needed was just within walking distance but on a quiet street. We got clean towels everyday and everything you’ll need for a great stay, will definitely come again.

One of the only things that comes to my mind are the pillows. Great bed with good bedding but the pillows can definitely be better!

Beautiful surroundings, quiet with lots of wildlife. Lots of seating space indoors and outdoors. We had light bites for the evening which were good and it was nice not to have to have a full meal. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.

The room we stayed in was very hot, there was a fan in the room but the window didn’t open very wide so it retained the heat.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location on the main street with private parking, beer garden behind the hotel where we were permitted to eat our carry-out evening meals (for which there was plenty of choice). Good price.

Overall a clean hotel and room. Nothing glaringly poor in terms of cleanliness or functionality of the room. There was a refrigerator in the room. The TV worked fine. Soap and shower gel provided. No obvious mould in room.

The elevator is small and terribly slow - also when busy it was hard to get in as the elevator goes to the top floor and works its way down, so if you're on a lower floor it is always occupied. Bed could have been more comfortable for the price paid - it was a basic spring mattress. Overall the room was pleasant enough, but the value was not good. But I suppose that is more of a market rate problem.

I liked the swimming pool , the parking area was big enough , and a good area all round

Toilet seat loose and hard to use. Curtains hanging on the pillows of the bed so needed tucking away. Lack of plugs none in bedrooms . tv by front door when sun's out impossible to watch the tv , a wardrobe covering a window instead of curtains very pointless ,light above bed constantly buzzing, cups was not clean, shower had not much pressure and cracks in the roof, sofa very hard and not comfortable . Pictures of the property was differnt to the property I stayed in. Staff at reception few times was unavailable when needed

As it was listed as being an ex Jury's hotel I thought it would be up to the jury's standard, however the room was more to a Travel Lodge standard with an open wardrobe and no draws for storage, we upgraded to a superior room at another £50 per night which was better but still lift a lot to be desired. I have stayed in hotels in London which at that money would be a lot better and Breakfast would have been included.
