Staff were fantastic, I had to be up and out early and they boxed me up a breakfast to go which was so thoughtful! This is the second time i stayed at the golden key, room 1 is my favourite! Also worth mentioning the food in the evening is fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely!

I loved the wonderful convenient entrance, speedy check in and wonderful customer service from Donna who was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming despite a late check in due to delayed flights returning to London.

Stunning views. Comfortable room. Great bar meal. Ease of parking. Great breakfast and breakfast service. Reception and front of house was prompt and friendly.

Not good value for money. Room was fine and comfortable but not worth what we paid. The bar prices were extortionate. We attended a function at a similar venue across the road while we were there and same drinks were approx 30% cheaper. Bar service was a bit ponderous and pricing confusing. Our bill for drinks was described as breakfast. Next time I think we’ll be across the road. The Marine seems geared to American Golfers.

Very understaffed, rooms were not ready on time, room service were struggling to keep up with demand of turnover from coach parties AND service clients like us who were staying for several nights. The Pool and CHildrens facilities are only open 8 -12 and 4-8 so DOES NOT service families travelling with children very well whereas it always used to be great - especially if it was raining outside. This probably reflect the staff shortages. Both restaurants in the evening are overpriced with very limited menus for children. Great for family breakfasts but next time we would eat out for the rest of the day.

Couldn’t use the WiFi in the property as it was claimed there’s internet and couldn’t use the TV as it wasn’t connected to the internet. There’s only one towel available for use in the property and it doesn’t seem clean. Every other thing is excellent.
