After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The breakfast was ok, I did find the omelette a bit watery, but that is my opinion. It had a self serving pancake machine which, although it wasn’t that straightforward as the instructions wasn’t immediately noticeable, was good.

Where the trays were situated, as it seems like it has been designed so that you enter the buffet area from the outside rather than the reception area. But not too sure how the layout can be changed due to the limited space.

very spacious, the kids loved the hot tub, it was very near to the wedding venue which was so convenient, the only issue was the parking because we had 2 cars but luckily managed to park out St Giles

just the parking

Didn’t have breakfast. Location good, being close to the train and underground station. Access is easy. Staff very friendly.

Good luck to anyone shorter than 5ft 6 inches if you’re using the loo in the room. The toilet is set ridiculously high, so that legs (mine are long!) we’re left dangling nowhere near the floor. I had to stretch to balance on my tiptoes. The most uncomfortable toilet I’ve ever had in any room. The room also was teeny, with hardly any storage space. Probably ok for one night, but we stayed three. Won’t make that mistake again. Also, the room was very dark, looking up at a block of windows opposite, and somewhere in the far distance up there was the sky. Sorry, don’t think I’ll be back. 🙁

Great spot - not the prettiest immediate surroundings but the village was lovely

Beautiful house, very modern decor with all modern cons, like home from home.

The neighbours were quite noisy in the night time and the street was a bit rough and a bit frightening to walk up late at night, strong smell of weed constantly in the air.

The hand basin in the bathroom was blocked, the bed was very uncomfortable.

The air conditioning unit in the bedroom didn't work but down in reception it was freezing while I had a drink

Excellent kitchen facilities with bread, jams, fruit, cereals etc

Friendly staff, good cooked breakfast

The decor in room 2 was very odd, glass, shiny silver furniture and black and white, and felt cold. Not at all in keeping with the history of the building or the style elsewhere. Needs a rug at least to soften up the cold hard floor. No plugs near the bed for phone and TV at such a strange angle that it could not be watched from the bed.

Our room was very small and very hot with only a small window able to be opened . Step down into bathroom bit dangerous
