Lastly the breakfast was excellent so I highly recommend to opt for it.”

I also love the cat-theme decor and cute furniture/amenities:) 2) The owner was very warm and one of the most helpful I've encountered. Not only did she take the time to help us with our series of questions (when our check-in was already past 9.30PM), but she also helped drive us to the train station. Her recommendation really made a difference to our trip...we would have tried to lug our large suitcases from Nikko to Tokyo (thinking that it was only a train ride away) if not for her advice to pre-send them to our Tokyo hotel.   The room is of a good size, Clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Good-sized bathroom with easy-to-use shower facilities. Excellent range of breakfast choices, the cooked breakfasts are all very well made and nicely presented, and teh breakfast room has a great view over the bay.

  I came here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere (perfect!). Absolutely gorgeous cottage style room and the most incredible breakfast the next day. We would definitely return.

  The Room was clean and comfortable and very spacious, a very good size, especially for London. The bathroom was well appointed wirh Shower Gel, Shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, and a great shower wirh lots of space.

  The aircon was confusing to operate, it was either on....very on or off, and couldn't seem to find a middle ground. The bed was small for 2 sturdy guests. Would be good to have an option of Kingsize/super king. The restaurant onsite was a little peculiar. No background music playing, staff seemed busy doing other things but not serving. They were organising tables being noisydragging tabkes and chairs, , we waited a long time to order our drinks and food. Which was tasty and enjoyable. I felt we should have been given priority over tables fir evening service The decor is very vivid and a bit confused. During breakfast another customer was smoking in the conservatory which I know is illegal, she was offered an ashtray . The Speed awareness course we're queuing for coffee , so we had to wait 20 minutes to get a coffee. When we entered for breakfast our egg order was taken, we got our breakfast from The buffet and then had to wait 25 minutes further for our eggs.. the restaurant was quiet. Just a lack of organisation and management here.

  Beautiful, characterful building. Very friendly staff. I loved the upsy-downsy route to our room and the higgledy piggledy floors and walls.

  Our double bed sunk in the middle and was a little bumpy so we got very little sleep. Maybe I am a princess and there was a pea in the bed! I managed about 2 hours once dawn was breaking and the seagulls woke up. Maybe the ghosts settled down to sleep in the daylight!

  The location is it’s only redeeming feature.

  The room was about as basic as was possible to get with everything looking worn, dirty and not working. The sink was blocked, the bed squeaked, lights didn’t work, the bathroom door didn’t shut etc etc etc. Too many things to list and for the price of £234 it was a complete and utter rip-off. Booking.com should definitely take this property off their books. It reflects badly on their reputation!
