Positive section of review
Location was very central, walking into town a matter of seconds. Long stay carpark almost immediately behind the cottage , Furnished to a high standard it was equipped with absolutely everything one needed. There was even pats of butter and coffee and tea available which was not mentioned on the spec sheet.

It was very close to a secure underground car park and also a grass area for the dogs. The decor was nice, I liked the colour pink in our room. The beds were comfortable and clean. In good walking distance to a lot and always easy to get back to because you just head towards to the i360!

There isn’t very good climate control so one of the radiators was on full whack and the valve was broken. The heating turns off at 10pm but we had to sleep with the windows open and Brighton is very noisy at night. The room doesn’t have much table space in it.

This property is in an amazing position, making it easy to see all the main attractions in Edinburgh whether you choose to walk, catch hop on hop off bus, taxi or train. Everywhere accessible within easy distance of property.

We were in a good location with easy access to groceries, excellent coffee shops and public transport. It was also quiet in the apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean.

The instructions to the key pad was unclear and we had to phone for help. Many of the light bulbs were out and the en-suite lights flashed. We couldn't make the extractor fans work in the bathrooms and as there were no windows, we couldn't ventilate them. There were no instructions for the TV and it took us ages to work out there were no live channels. As we don't have subscriptions, our choices were very limited. The password for the wi-fi was not where the instructions had indicated. The dishwasher didn't work and there was no plug or bowl for the sink for washing up. It was a bit cold, we couldn't make the heaters work and the plug-in radiator wasn't quite enough.

Had cobwebs from the dated brass GU10 ceiling lights, switches on the bed should head should access all lights in the The room as small and it was but 1 out of 3 only worked which was the reading lamps on the head board. Wasn’t sure if the bath was just stained or a muck mark ! But I did get chocolate on the white bed sheet !!! Which did apologise to the cleaner as leaving! Bathroom should have had non slip tiles but am picky because I am a site joiner that build and refurbish hotels for a living. The staff were brilliant and was made very welcome why stay and would go stay again.

Tv not working in single room. Tap on mixer fell off. Towel rail broken. No heated towel rail. No light bulb in bedside light. Only shower and shampoo for one in double room
