The location was excellent and there was NO breakfast. The fortnight I was there the bed was not made and the sheets not changed. They did not top up the communal soap container and I had to ask for a change of towel. I even had my towel washed by relatives as I seldom saw anyone at the place . Toilet paper nearly ran out. In the bedroom there was mould.

Really friendly welcome by Celine, and info given about nearby restaurants. Very good breakfast, including the choice of Manx skippers (to be pre-ordered). Our room was quiet , and had a very clean bathroom. We were asked if we needed our tea ,coffee-making facilities topped up.

Our room was very small, and although it was a twin room as requested, it was an L shape, so one single bed was not in the sight line of the tv!! Bathroom was Very compact.

A wonderful place to be! I can totally recommend it! Thoughtfully decorated, big and clean rooms, with good coffee and tea in our room. We had the best (Scottish) breakfast in their living room. Very nice people! I will definitely come back to Achalochan House!

The property is a large Georgian building which has been converted into a hotel. Inside has been going through redecoration and is very clean, modern and well laid out.

It’s a bit noising from traffic as the property is situated on a main road

The location was great, near the underground, Hyde Park and plenty of places to eat

Disappointed with the facilities. Very surprised to only get 2 towels with a note that if we wanted more we would have to pay for it. There was no hand towel in the bathroom, or face washer. There were no T towels in the kitchen or an oven glove. guess if we cooked or used the oven we would have to use our towels. Would have loved a cup of tea on our arrival but there was no welcome milk or anything. There were no wine glasses. The lift did not work when we were there so had to carry suitcases up and downstairs. The bedding cover and pillow cases looked unwashed and the bed was rock hard. Very uncomfortable

Location was very good just outside the northern quarter

The room we had was an interior room so no windows I knew this when I booked so that’s not a problem but it seriously needs upgrading no air conditioning two plug sockets both taken up by the tv and the fan that just blows the warm air around the room, it was clean and it worked out £50 for B&B each so again can’t complain about the price but don’t expect much more than a large cupboard and uncomfortable bed if that’s all you need then this is the place for you. Oh yeah it was all they had left when I was booking it but the pictures don’t match the room that’s for sure

Parking was a nightmare, found all places taken and a long walk to find somewhere to park especially with cases. Lovely lady on reception kindly gave us her parking spot.
