We only stayed for the one night but we could have stayed for weeks, the staff were all polite and willing to help despite being very busy, more than ample parking, rooms were pleasant and comfortable and the bar / dinning area was relaxing on the evening.

Located in the centre is always good, parking (though charged for) was easy, breakfast was hearty (Harty pun intended) bar was old world atmospheric and bed was comfy.

Only two pillows would be an issue for couples, OK for me, Bathroom was tired but functional, drinks in room were sparce, just enough for two drinks if you take sugar! Reception was often abandoned, perhaps staffing numbers issues.

The Hotel in a good location and clean. Breakfast is simple, but enough. Towels, soap, shampoo provided. Coffee, Tea, Milk, Kettle supplied in the room.

Finding parking proved to be difficult, despite the efforts of the property owners to facilitate free parking. Pay and display however is available at a short walking distance.

It’s very old and run down. The property smells stale alot of fixtures in bathroom broken old rusty.. very low standard . To go to the room you have to take luggage up down steps and through endless doors which is difficult.. we were provided with 1 towel no floor mat etc but this was rectified when we told the reception

Lift not working. Room was in basement with no outlook and no control for air conditioning. It was very hot and staff turned on air con and would not leave control. Had to look for staff at 11pm to have air con turned off
