Positive section of review
Property is a short walk from the beach and amenities. Host left bread and butter on our arrival which was a nice touch. The annex has WiFi and essentials available to use, towels, iron, crockery, hand-wash, etc that come in useful. The local supermarket is only a couple of minutes walk away too which was great. We didn't have a dog with us but it's nice that the annex is dog friendly for those wanting to take their dogs away with them.

The property could have been cleaner, and I would say it is due a refurb as it looked like it had seen better days. The toilet brush contained quite alot of feaces from previous guests, which wasn't pleasant to see. The matress was very hard and uncomfortable with both my partner and I waking up with aching backs. There seems to be a large damp problem on the lounge room wall with the paint peeling off. There were cobwebs and large spiders at the sides of the units in the lounge area, bedroom, and inside one of the kitchen cupboards, which I put my hand through whilst reaching for the plug. There was also an eggy smell around the stairs, I'm not sure what that was. The shower dripped water nonstop, which splashed all over the mat outside the door, leaving it soaked overnight, and there was alot of black mould slime under the head of the bathroom sink tap and shower plug. The bathroom door is made of glass with gaps on the top and bottom and is inside the bedroom, so any privacy whilst using the bathroom isn't possible. The windows don't close properly. The property is down an alleyway where the neighbours German Shepherd takes himself down every day and poos in the middle of the path that the owner leaves there for somebody else to pick up. We only stayed 2 nights, so didn't feel the need to call the host as we wanted to get out and enjoy our time away. It's a shame as the propery has alot of potential if it was cleaned up. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back to this property with the condition it was in.

Beautiful location, we did loads of walks and didn’t have to get in the car once, lots of options straight from the doorstep! The inside is comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to make tea each day and never want for anything. Owners are lovely and very welcoming

Top cleanliness, very beautiful and cosy room. Very responsive & helpful host. Close to public links & neighbourhood is full of great cafés and dining spaces. Choice of gyms, convenient stores, grocery shops around. Convenient & comfortable.
