Positive section of review
The owners provided all the information we needed well in advance. The property is very spacious, every bedroom has its own ensuite and the view from the deck is amazing. The kitchen is also well stocked which was great as we like to cook. The pool table in the games room was a nice addition and something we used quite a bit. We also liked having so many separate living spaces so we didn't disturb each other if some wanted to watch TV and others read. Personally having a jetty right next to the property which I could paddle board from was an absolute luxury, which I took advantage of every day. Even had the seals to come watch me one morning which made my holiday.

There isn't enough furniture outside. The sofa only seats 3 and the two chairs that have been added can't be used as the legs slip through the deck boards. There is also a little bit of an ant problem. It seems to be a local issue not the owners fault as the kitchen was spotless when we arrived and we saw them in the cafe nearby too. It just means you can't leave any food out on the counter or in the cupboards unless it is in a sealed container, and dirty dishes need to be washed or put in the dishwasher immediately. The owners had left ant spray which we used after cleaning the work surfaces and it wouldn't stop us returning but its worth knowing in advance so you can take food bags or tuppaware dishes.

I liked this little flat very much. Linens were fresh and clean. Place is light and well laid out. However it is way below it's full potential as a holiday rental.

Lack of kitchen equipment made it impossible to prepare food eg. No tea towel, dish clothes or oven gloves. No proper pans for induction hob, no wine glasses, not enough plates and very dirty cultery. No dishwasher tablets. Poor communication eg. No flat number in the arrival notes, misleading info on early check in, wrong WiFi codes and number of parking permits so I got a parking ticket. The sofa is sooo uncomfortable, it's all so cheap and ugly. Shame as with a bit of money being spent it could be a great place.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. Let me grab the key early and get changed (for wedding). Ordered me a taxi to the venue and sorted it out.

The apartment had mold and rust in the bathroom, the staff were rude and there were other occupants banging on doors in the early hours of the morning with no staff to stop them.

The design and decoration are bad and don't seem relaxing. Blakemore Hotel is very close to it and much better with almost same price.
