The location of the property is beautiful, right next door to a park. The room was clean. Toiletries were included as were snacks. The host is amazing my flight is at 7am and she walked with me, at 5 am, to the airport as I didn't know where to go. Above and beyond. I will definitely book here again whenever I fly from Gatwick.

Loved the outlook from our bedroom onto the grounds at the back of the hotel, also there was hardly any road noise in the rooms at the back of the property especially as the hotel is positioned on a busy duel carriage way.

The location is excellent, the communal areas are modern and clean, the staff are friendly. The size of the apartment is great and the bathroom (and shower) were very nicely finished and to a high standard.

This was not worth the price I paid - it felt more like student accommodation. The carpet was cheap looking and feeling, the blinds were not attached to the windows (windows at a steep angle and low quality blinds hung parallel to the floor so it blocked none of the light and only gave privacy if you kept checking where you were positioned). Everything felt 'functional' rather than to a lovely finish. I'm comparing like with like as I've stayed in multiple very central apartments in Edinburgh so I'm comparing with the prices across that range. The sofa was hard and uncomfortable and the seat was covered in a blanket which really made you feel like it was a cheap and easy to clean option rather than offering comfort. My oven was so dirty I just decided not to use it for the week. I was really, really disappointed with the price I paid compared to what was on offer. It's functional and the location was good but there was no hint of luxury once you were inside the apartment.

Great location - ten minutes Walt to the centre. Easy parking. Nice building.

Damp carpets in room. Awful smell in the bathroom. Although the hotel was aware that the previous guest had ‘flooded ‘ the bathroom (it smelt like they had also soiled it), no one made us aware of an ongoing issue so the first we knew was when walking in socked feet into the bathroom. After flagging the issue the hotel provided some disposable slippers. Windows fully opened and aircon at full blast helped ease the unsavoury aromas. An experience one would more likely expect in a low quality hotel lacking any aspirational qualities. It’s clear that most guests don’t experience similar issues so it makes our poor experience all the more disappointing.
