Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked to order by friendly helpful staff. Surroundings, were comfortable and up to date. Outside there are tables which would be lovely on a warm summers day/ evening, indeed we heard skylarks singing as we left in the morning. The owners were very helpful and offered us assistance with our luggage if needed.

I could have done with a rubber/ plastic anti slip Matt in the shower tray. However I did not ask for one at the time. Also a grab rail in the shower cubicle.

Great location for our needs. Quirky and comfortable accommodation in the Wonky Cockerel was great for us. The outside kitchen area was lovely and the provision of stove, gas hob and fridge was most welcome. The shower and toilets were great for our needs. Will definitely look to stay here again when back in the area

Great location. The receptionist gave us excellent advice on how to get public transport into the centre. Room was ideal for a family of 3. Lovely bathroom. Lots of electrical points and lighting.

We were happy with everything. Paid extra on arrival for breakfast and was upgraded to room 426. We will be returning soon and would love to be booked into this room again.

The bedroom window couldn't be left open over night due to the noise level from the road directly outside the bedroom. The mattresses were too soft for us but probably suit other people. The shower in the ensuite is very tight when the doors are shut. There isn't alot of room to move but it was very powerful & wonderful. I would suggest some kind of shelf/caddy in the shower in order that there is somewhere to put your bottles etc. However, overall, a lovely time was had by all.
