Fresh cooked to order breakfast included,large selection of breakfast items. Lovely welcoming staff Free parking which was important Room was overlooking the carpark, it had had a refurbishment and beautifully decorated with a separate entrance area with wardrobes and a sofa and coffee table. A very reasonably priced hotel with breakfast and parking and very quick WiFi included in the price, making it exceptionally good value.

Underground car parking space provided. Easy access to Edinburgh centre. 2 bed, 2 bathroom and a downstairs toilet.

Bedrooms needed thick curtains to block out the light, not just a thin roller blind. Pillows were cheap and thin, needed pillow protectors, and some were stained. For an apartment which sleeps 4 people, 2 teaspoons and 3 knives are inadequate. Kitchen needed more utensils, such as tea towels, colander and scissors. Some of the radiators either didn’t work at all, or could not be adjusted. No clothes rack to hang washing on.

Bill was paid on arrival, but I was asked to pay again on departure. The transaction had not been recorded by the staff correctly, though I was allowed to leave without paying again. Rather disconcerting at the time. Unsure about whether the restaurant was open during the evening, there seemed to be conflicting information from the website and the staff. In the end we walked out to a local pub near the harbour.
