The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

I think this place is a gem. It is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is great. It has all you need. The location is also great. You're a short walk to the overground and a very short walk for the Thames clipper if you prefer. But honestly, the accommodation is great. Clean, really well maintained, loads of free parking. I've stayed twice now and I'll be staying again. I stayed as a couple and as a single lone female. Really recommend.

What a find ! Just back from a lovely stay here at the Arthington and couldn’t have asked for better . Steve and Elaine were lovely , the hotel was nicely decorated , had everything we wanted and was a little bit of luxury in Blackpool . Really enjoyed it - thank you and will deffo be back

Friendly helpful staff. Clean room which was serviced! Excellent location for both railway station and bus station and near by St. Stephen's Centre for our evening meal.

Not a good idea to serve hot meals on cold plates! They suck the heat out of the food which leaves it lukewarm. You need to invest in a decent plate warmer. I personally do not want cheese and ham for breakfast but bearing in mind Hull's status as a main ferry port I would have thought this essential for our continental visitors.

We never had breakfast during our stay.Location of hotel was fine on seafront. The room had been decorated very recently as it smelt of fresh paint!!
Negative section of review
The fact that hotel was still being refurbished during our stay was not what we were expecting. No facilities were available eg bar, lounge ,evening meal, £2 parking permit for parking opposite hotel along seafront. The hotel had recently been taken over so permit wasn’t available any more which was annoying as we had look for parking space in nearby streets!!

Location and decoration. Large comfy bed. Friendly and efficient staff.

No AC. The room was very hot and stuffy. Food was relatively bland, and in my view overpriced for the quality (e.g. stale breakfast pastries).

Location and ease to Terminal 5, room and restaurant

Signage to hotel. Not at all clear when arriving at T5 by bus or in carparks. Signage having if in one direction. Rang hotel reception 3 times for directions and in sufficient directions given and using Cafe Nero as landmark should have been made clear there are two !! Room lacked correct basics. No hand wash and whstcsjouldvgavevbeen hand-wash was body lotion !
