The staff in the restaurant below which belongs to the owners and is a family run business were just fabulous, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the staff. Very handy as well late at night when your feeling hungry. Accommodation is basic but clean and adequate we had come for a concert at the Principality Stadium and is ideally located as only a very short walk away ( room prices do increase when a gig is on but the location and ease to the gig justified the higher price for us). Tea and coffee facility in the rooms and rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. If parking in the NCP car park the owners have a voucher which you purchase from them and it reduces the cost of parking we stayed for 3 nights and saved about £35.00 so well worth it and the carpark is only around the corner.

You do need to be quite fit for the stairs especially if your on the top floor as there is no lift. The carpet on the stairs is thread bare in places and does need to be replaced could potentially be a trip/fall hazard especially as the stairs are so steep.

Very small room, no aircon, tea and coffee not refilled from previous visitor. No socket next to the bed for charging your phone, The lift broke down and I was on the 5th floor. Pillows were like sleeping on a brick. The web pictures are nothing like what I received, very disappointed considering the cost.
