****Warning***** Booking.com provided a rate and the vendor subsequent charged a higher price with the excuse that there were two of use not one. Currently in dispute with vendor. The property is a little run down and jammed in between two working shipyards. While we were there the alarms went off at the shipyard for a couple of hours. See view below The view of the river is nice. Easy walk to town. Useful pamphlets about local area

2nd bedroom very small. Change of rate as covered above, as far as I am concerned the rate from booking.com is the agreed rate, this vendor just thinks she can just charge you more post accepance and has then blanked booking.com in dispute

Stayed here as a base for Etape Caledonia cycle race. Could not have asked for a better place or location. Murray and Deborah (the owners) are simply amazing. Friendly, welcoming and hugely accommodating to all your needs. The rooms themselves are very spacious, comfortable beds and the breakfasts in the morning are an absolute treat (try the home made jam!) Thank you, Murray and Deborah again for such a wonderful stay!

The apartment is really lovely, with everything included for self catering. It's an excellent location, and with free parking. It was decorated very nicely and was very conformable. The hosts were attentive, sending messages to check all was okay and to offer help in any way needed. I would highly recommend staying here, and I hope to again at some point.

Nearly every door would not shut properly without banging it,either wrongly fitted or over painted. Poor quality toilet paper,an electric shower that screamed it's head off and then dribbled water. Guest's name's are on a chalkboard for everyone to see, I personally don't approve of this, a possible breach of data protection? The restaurant only opens Monday to Friday this is not advertised as so. This Hotel is Style over Substance, very poor value for money. I would not recommend staying here.
