Very keenly priced, but a quality establishment with very helpful owners. I arrived late, and they dealt cheerfully with a check-in in the early hours. Room was very comfortable with nice touches throughout. I was only there for one night but would have been happy to stay for longer. Well located in the centre of the town with easy parking outside and shops nearby.

I had zero phone reception (Three network). Not the host's fault at all, and the wifi was good enough to keep me in touch.

I got a great price for a last-minute booking at the Blakemore and was super surprised when we opened the door to a suite rather than a room. It was super clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent value and comfort!

I stayed in a twin room where the beds were super close together—just as well I liked my colleague (lol) Despite that, the room was perfect for an overnight stay after an awards evening.

Nice location, near the underground and clean enough. Staff weren't English so hard to communicate with (they initially gave us the wrong beds, took some effort for them to understand us but did sort out the next day).

Unfortunately was rather noisy from children upstairs in another room. Not much the hotel could do with them running around in early hours but something to be aware of that could be annoying if you were to stay here (certainly was for us).

Lovely staff. Lady who welcomed me at the desk kindly upgraded me to a double when I’d paid for a single, free of charge. Absolutely spotless. Nice quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing.

The location was fab. Ideal for the shops and restaurants. Was very clean and tidy.

The only problem was the stairs as I am waiting for a knee replacement and I don’t think the pictures convey just how difficult they are to get up or down. They are very awkward. The handrail could be better too as you catch your fingers pulling yourself up.
