The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Upon arrival, we were advised that Booking.com had double booked the room, so there were no double rooms available. The manageress, Jess stepped in and sorted the situation most efficiently. She gave us the option of her sorting out a B&B locally or there was a single room they could put a camp bed in. We went with this option and it was just about manageable. Our stay was complimentary which was a very generous gesture and must appreciated. Evening meal and breakfast were faultless.

The only issue was because the camp bed was right next to the window, the noise from guests leaving the pub was quite loud, plus it was quite a busy road so passing traffic was plentiful with noise and lights, so found it hard to drop off.

The flat is amazing! Has everything that you need and it's very comfortable. It's very close to the city centre and even closer to the park (the Meadows), which was amazing as we were lucky with wonderful weather :) After long days of exploring the city we could relax and enjoy our evenings watch TV or just talking. Amazing!

The staff - lovely welcoming people, the location was quite and safe, with the major attractions reachable by public transport, oh and the breakfast which was the best English breakfast I’ve ever had.

The room was a little small but it was fresh and spotlessly clean.

Comfortable and well equipped rooms and shared spaces. Well-located in central Moffat with plenty options to eat and drink in the evening, and for buying provisions for breakfast in the morning.

We were lucky to get a parking space nearby as we had heavy bags, but there was not dedicated parking for the property.

I chose the Crown Hotel because of the age of the building, the sloping floors, the leaning stairway, the exposed timber ceilings, the oak panelled rooms

I had to park one night away from the hotel because of the limited free parking

Overall a good location, well appointed. A few observations that need to be corrected. Overall staff helpful but the hotel seems to be under staffed.

There were a few issues: - Room service menu via TV very difficult to find not intuitive, and even staff took some time to find. System needs updating. - No back-up room service menu in rooms - no response from phone lines (room service, reception, general) - I had to go to reception, which was not staffed, then search the kitchen for staff to help. In general there are staffing issues at the hotel. The staff in place were very helpful and professional but the hotel is under staffed. Taxi booking service - unable to locate any Heathrow locations in the system (even with staff help) i.e. car rental locations.
