Very friendly staff, facilities were good, restaurant was good but menu choice could have been better, all in all a comfortable stay, one issue I have is paying for car parking, I guess most hotels charge nowadays but it is just another case of guest’s getting ripped off especially when I am a member of Hilton Honours which should be free but because I booked through a third party (reception’s words), I had to pay £10 a night, again why should we get ripped off for parking on hotel property.

Very friendly staff who were informative and helpful. Comfortable room. Decent location, close to a nice park and right by a bus stop. Enough shops nearby to see you right. Breakfast had a decent spread for its price and the staff were accommodating.

The TV only had two channels that only ran at certain times of the day.

Meal was lovely but the service was poor, unhappy staff who didn’t seem bothered, 3 times other people’s meals were brought to us. Long wait at the bar before meal and only one staff member serving with others behind bar but not serving

Lovely room with great facilities. The drying room and washing facilities were very helpful after a long day hiking. Easy checkin and appreciated the breakfast recommendation

The air conditioning was quite poor, it waded quite hot in the room which made it quite hard to sleep.

The room was immaculately presented. Really nice extras in terms of toiletries. The TV was excellent as well.

The room was really stuffy. The curtains had been left open all day and it was impossible to get rid of the hot air from the room even with the fan. A portable air on unit is needed as was just uncomfortable early evening and through the night. Firmer pillows needed as well. I also went thinking I could get a room service meal at 1930 on a Monday evening only to be told the kitchen was closed. I would have been fine with this and planned for it if it had been made clear to me when booking.
