We have stayed before. Its really close to the Millennium Centre and Cardiff Bay’s attractions, bars and restaurants. Tucked away somewhere quiet. Free parking. 2 doubles and 2 bathrooms - one is enough suite. Comfy settee. Table and chairs. Basic toiletries provided. Perfect for a couple of days away. Garry is a great host. Communal area feels safe and is clean.

Only a few things that could be Shower in the ensuite is quite small.Other shower is over the bath in the more spacious bathroom. Another armchair would be good to save sitting in a row. No views except the car park, but we didn’t care as everything is within 200- 300 yards.

I loved the quietness ,very peaceful .The bed [single room] was very comfortable .The fact that the bathroom was shared didn't pose any problem. In five days ,I only had one occasion where I had to use the bathroom on the next floor.Lovely heavy curtains ..good for every season and light blocking.Lots of plugs and charging points .

Tea bags etc could have been replenished more ,especially as there didn't seem to be anyone on reception to ask.Quite a long walk into town,[about 30mins ] which has pros and cons ,its a quieter area and it's a good walk past the Infirmary ,also on another route ,there is a local Lidl ! Buses good and frequent if the walk gets too much !

Location was idyllic and very near the White Horse of Uffignton! A lovely walk to Uffington Town itself about 10 - 20 minutes. The Character of the Pub, parking across the road and dining in the pub for breakfast (provided!) and dinner.

Alternative milk for vegans but we understand not everyone has this. Be mindful, Unit 1 in the, (not as old as the pub), apartments next door had a low slanting ceiling in the bathroom upstairs. My husband did bump his head showering, but he is also quite silly, so I don think this is the pub's fault.

It was a very quiet location, and a good price. The people are very friendly. 😊

The mattress needs to be replaced, it dipped in the middle and you could feel the springs. The bathroom is tiny, could barely fit on the toilet, and we are not big people. The stairs up to the loft are very steep. Not good if you have mobility issues, or lots of luggage

As husband was in a wheelchair the lift had to be operated by a member of staff and no other person allowed in lift with him. Was given a phone number to ring for assistance but no reply so very inconvenient to come and go on our own.
