The property was very clean and fresh looking, the sofas were clean and comfortable with plenty of coffee tables and throws should you need them. The kitchen was well equipped, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t supplied. The property was very comfortable to stay in, just like being at home.

There was nothing that we could say that we didnt like , The only comment I will make is the outside space wasn’t really suited to our dogs as they are not used to Astro turf, they wouldn’t use it if you know what I mean but in a way that was a good thing as it made us get up extra early to take them out 😁 Oh yes…… the hill back up from town is a killer!! 🫣

Friendly welcome, nice room and excellent dinner. Nice garden for a predinner drink or a read in our book. Handy stopover on the trip back home from Cornwall. A good shower and a big bathroom. Nice cocktails.

The noise of the road is very loud, There is a lot of traffic as this road is often used as a shortcut. A room facing the garden would have been better. However, I overheard a guest complaining about dogs barking all night, heard in a room at the back. The garden can also have beer-guests, so I guess they did their best to give us a room at the front when we asked for a quiet room, but the road is very busy.

The bedroom was sufficient for a one night stay but could have been cleaner, especially the carpet. But the bathroom was clean and had a decent shower.
