We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

  Loved the breakfast it was plentiful and delicious. The price was very reasonable. The room, although a little tired, was clean with everything you needed. Tea, coffee towels, etc. This is not top quality accommodation, but neither was the price. I will definitely return in the future.

  Location wise this apartment is perfect. The host is a true gent and prize/quality wise it is spot on you. All in all a very pleasant stay. Beds are good, pillows are great, two very well maintained bathrooms and the living room is decent.

  Location was excellent and in centre of town, easy to get to from airport. Room was very quiet for location and all amenities were provided. Bed was very comfy and got a great nights sleep. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  A very small thing but no tv in bedroom. Room had a separate area for living quarters but as I say its only a personal preference of men for a tv in the bedroom to wind down for the night.

  Super location. Was Close to the place we needed. Beds comfortable pillows comfortable. 2 nights of the best sleep in ages. Free range eggs bread milk. Pleasant host next door, never intrusive. Outside space fresh air.

  The staff were good. The location was good. Lots of hot water and brilliant shower. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Nice large towels.

  Marked carpet in bedroom, no towel rail, room not serviced unless you asked. When the room was serviced it wasn’t well done. Bathroom bin not emptied. Bed not remade etc. When we arrived there was water on the bathroom floor where, we assume, the shower curtain hadn’t worked suggesting that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. We were there for 3 nights. But no wardrobe, no drawers, no hooks on bathroom door, no towel rail. Apparently the bedrooms had been refurbished during lockdown. Why would you leave brown curtains, brown skirting board and picture rail when the decor was fairly modern? Chrome in the shower had water marks on so we assumed it hadn’t been cleaned. Decor in the bar was really tatty and the carpets up the night entrance stairs were filthy. The metal window frames in the bedroom were dirty, unpainted and tatty.

  Everywhere was run down. En suite shower was in need of a deep clean - a lot of black mould . Dirty marks/stains on doors and walls of bedroom. On going to bed there was a noise and vibration coming from whatever machinery was switched on in the room beneath our bedroom this kept us awake We thought it might have been a kitchen area. Breakfast on first morning - overcooked and dried up sausages, overcooked scrambled egg. On second morning the sausages and bacon were cold - we chose not to eat them. Dining room carpet was not conducive to an enjoyable breakfast- it was disgusting with stains all over it.
