Ugiebrae House was a very pleasant B&B and our family of five enjoyed our stay in three of the rooms. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. Room provisions and facilities were good and this included a good shower, tea and coffee, strong wifi and a TV that was easy to view. Breakfast in the conservatory was very good - there was lots of choice and our English cooked breakfasts was very tasty. Our host was friendly and informative throughout our stay and our (grown-up) children loved the dog, Dougal.

Our bed quilt was rather thick and too warm - a lighter quilt available for summer months would have been helpful. The water pressure was too low to run an adequate bath.

It is a spacious property with plenty of living areas, the separate annex, a big garden and good connections to the local area. We were able to have time together but there were enough spaces for different activities too. Nice walks, shops in the local area and close enough to visit the beach as well.

Lovely modern apartment with everything you need for a holiday with lovely extra touches .. books/toys in kids room. Central location to beach, village pubs/shops within walking distance. View to beach from outside property was fab!

Being a bit picky but code to front door was a bit of a pain in/out to front patio and car .. but did get used to it and understand for security why code needed.

Our room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight - great choice and really yummy. A stone's throw from the loch and hill walks and short drive to other great sights.

Our bed was a very soft - some people will love this, I prefer a firmer mattress. We had dinner in the pub restaurant one night; the starters were great, but mains and puddings were average.

A lovely clean property in a good location. It is modern and stylish inside and the bed was very comfortable. A good night’s sleep and I’d definitely return

No bath just a shower

A good quality flat well situated for the town centre and bus station. A very relaxing place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there.
Negative section of review
We did a lot of cooking at the flat and was disappointed that there seemed to be no lids for the pans which made boiling vegetables somewhat difficult. This was the only downside of an otherwise well appointed, quality flat.

Decent, clean and comfortable stay.

Breakfast was expensive and not much vegetarian choice for evening dinner in the restaurant.

The hotel and spa was amazing

We were really looking forward to using all the spa facilities during our stay and paid for the whole hotel/spa experience. So we were really disappointed that the jacuzzi was out of order during our stay
