The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The hotel staff at the reception stood out for their professionalism and friendliness. They were courteous and accommodating, which somewhat offset the frustrations with the room. Another consideration for future guests is the parking situation, it comes at an additional cost of around £10 per night. It's worth noting that there are three parking options available, and guests are required to register their car plates at the reception which doesn't require much time.

Our two-night stay at the Lansdown Grove Hotel was a mixed bag of experiences. While the location was convenient, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Bath, several aspects of our accommodation left much to be desired. Firstly, the thin walls proved to be a significant drawback. Throughout our stay, we were constantly disturbed by noise from neighbouring rooms. The sound of someone sanding walls next door was particularly disruptive, making it challenging to relax or get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the lack of proper window insulation meant that the noise from passing cars on the street outside penetrated into our room, further detracting from our comfort. Furthermore, the condition of the room itself was less than satisfactory. The creaking floorboards amplified every step, and the bed, advertised for two people, felt cramped and uncomfortable. Additionally, the lift in the hotel is notably small and may pose difficulties for guests with luggage. One other point to bear in mind is the steep incline on the road leading to the hotel. Walking to and from the city center can be challenging, especially in windy weather.

Just love being able to stay in such a clean, well kept and also maintained, caravan. The owners are super friendly, and the cleaners deserve a medal🏅, brilliant stay again.
