Superb location in centre of York for you to walk everywhere. Taxi rank outside back entrance of property if you dont want to walk to train station. Very well presented apartment with good room sizes. Kitchen had plenty of utensils etc for everyone. Extremely secure Parking for 1 car which was a bonus in centre of York. 3 double rooms with 3 bathrooms although only 1 ensuite but essentially all bedrooms get a bathroom! Very quiet as within a small courtyard at back of the mews so no traffic noise whatsoever.

Would have been a 10 if absolutely perfect but marked down as follows which I have been quite fair with. 1. No keys for front entrance of mews which goes out into main street. You can leave the mews this way but to get back into the mews area you have to go via back entrance through 2 security gates. Which if on foot is a bit of a faff. 2. The twin beds - whilst the mattresses are comfortable the bedframes are metal which means every time you move you hear the frame noise which is quite loud and meant we woke up a few times. Perhaps the frames need to be tightened? These types of bed look nice but can be noisy.

Lovely dog friendly cottage set within well maintained gardens. Very well equipped (everything we needed was there and more)and lots of walks from the door. Jack was very welcoming and gave us good information about where to go and what to do around the area.

The property was lovely. Nice, minimalistic, light and clean. It was a perfect base for us to come back to after exploring but also a pleasant place to spend time at. Dog friendly which was a huge plus. Cosy, nice and warm, we were very comfortable :)

Just some picky things but feel these are easy quick fixes. We only had a towel each for the three night stay which meant we had to reuse multiple times, feel we could have done with a spare each. The property wasn’t stocked with toilet paper, we only had just over half a roll on arrival and ran out, unaware there was no more. I feel toilet roll isn’t something we should have ended up having to provide ourselves. We wouldn’t mind as much but there’s no shops close by, it’s a 15 minute walk to the closest one. We thought some form of toothbrush holder would have been nice too :)

Swimming Pool area was lovely clean and well maintained. Good location. Spa was pleasant and treatments booked were on time and relaxing. Pets welcome was a big bonus as i usually travel with my dog. Room was clean and quiet.

A general air of tattiness. Clean but some areas needing attention. Room service on the second day took two hours to arrive as apparently the system crashed-it's all done online. Some TV channels didn't work on the freeview set.

Staying at the apartment because of the locations and the room accommodate numbers of people comfortably. Easy access to public transport, mostly places is walking distance, great shops and restaurant around 5 mins walking.

Small shower room with dodgy door where its flimsy and the roller need some TLC. Overall nothing to fault for 1 night stay in London.

Excellent location with 2 metro stations within walking distance. The rooms were really comfortable with all amenities needed. The staff really helpful with all our enquiries! I would definitely come back!!

woke up with very loud fridge at 2.30 in morning a metre from bed in small room. mattress uncomfortable. Sitting cold as heater didn't heat up at nite when weather was awful Sunday and Monday. I would like my reviews as Jinny thanks.

Urine stains all over the toilet when we arrived. Told reception. They sent a cleaner fairly quickly but the cleaner didn't know why she was there. We were offered "biscuits" for the trouble it caused us as we had to leave the room for it to be cleaned. Wasn't offered a discount or partial refund or even a free drink at the bar would have been nice! For £135 for the night and checking in at 3pm I thought the room would've been fully cleaned. Also found it bizarre there were no lights on the ceiling which made the room very dark.

The wash hand facilities were as good as possible but because of room layout separate from shower/toilet facilities. Would choose another room next time!
