The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

When your buyer pulls out a few days before exchange you want a bit of cheering up, decided last minute to go away and booked Tor Farm. Not stayed before but it was perfect and ticked every box. We generally only leave a review if it's for somewhere good we have stayed, but there is something about Tor Farm; the quality of the lodge, the professionalism, the welcome and the area itself that exceeds every expectation of self catering and I would honestly rate it 20/20 if the system allowed and we have not thought that way about anywhere else we have stayed on a self catering basis.

The location is good, close to all of the attractions in Bridlington as it is right in the centre. The apartment shows promise but is very unfinished. Everything was clean apart from the windowsills. Towels included, we however were one short so my children had to share. Linen included. Keys were easy to get so check in was smooth.

Loads is unfinished, don't be fooled by the photos! The entrance is smelly and there was a very untidy/dirty room next door which we presume they are turning into an apartment as well although it’s very unsightly and the door being shut would have been better! The entrance didn't feel particularly safe. Loads of steps and a tight squeeze up to the apartment. Carpet fitted incorrectly on the stairs which my little boy tripped on, also nails on show and sticking up from the poor fitting (no reply from host when this was reported). The toilet seat is broken and does not for the toilet properly. Loads of random little holes in the walls and splashes up the walls and doors. There was no soap or washing up liquid so we could not wash the pots properly. Also no coffee or tea etc. Basically you have to take everything! The TV catch up worked but we couldn't get live TV. The bar stools are very light and tipped over easily, again my youngest fell off one of these as it tipped straight over when he sat on it. The beds are very hard and i struggled to sleep. The blind in the second bedroom kept falling down too. It wasnt worth the £176 we paid for one night and we did leave feeling disappointed as id paid for it as a luxury treat rather than a cheap b&b, it absolutely isn't ‘lavish’ as the description describes. Hopefully the owners will finish it off to a standard it should be at. Also to note that the on street parking is limited to 1 hour between the hours of 9am-7pm. We had a right mare trying to find somewhere to park when we first arrived and had to move the car several times until 7pm came.

The hotel's location was a few minutes walk away to St Pancras station. It was in walking distance to the British Museum and other tourist sites to visit. The room was clean but compact but we knew it was small. The bathroom was clean but extremely small.
Negative section of review
The bathroom was extremely small, just about okay for one night.

Perfect location with a very short walk to the centre. The house was situated in a quiet area and had an outside area, which was an added bonus. It was very clean. The information booklet was full of helpful information.

Lovely building. Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was SUPERB !!!! Nothing particularly exceptional. I would consider staying here again.

There is no on-site parking, but parking is available within walking distance. The flush mechanism on the toilet was somewhat hit-and-miss.

It is nicely located accommodation, good for exploring north Snowdonia. The cottage was equipped with all the basic facilities. Not bad value for money
Negative section of review
Not an ideal place for a quiet and calm stay for a couple, especially with the adjacent B&B hosting a hen do party. The cottage was nice and cosy, however, it offered very little privacy, as neighbouring cottages were not terribly well insulated, and you could hear your neighbours moving around their house. The space in front of the cottages could also offer a bit more privacy just if the "terraces" were separated by some plants.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need for your stay!

Nothing but just to add that the garden isn’t entirely dog-proof as there is a low wall adjoining neighbouring property at bottom of garden. We accompanied our dog outside as it was low enough for him to jump over!
