Lovely house for a break while on the John O'groats trail (be warned that there's no easy access from the trail so you have to cut back at Keiss and follow the road). Had a great time resting on the bench outside with the sun and the view. Room was nice and comfy.

Very clean and tidy both inside and out. Staff friendly and courteous. Amazing shower in our en suite. Food delicious and worth the wait after ordering. Lovely walk into town centre.

Everything was to a good standard - clean, good bed, excellent shower and an extra bonus with microwave, fridge and utensils etc. The guys were exceptionally helpful too.

The TV doesn't work properly (very poor reception). No BBC channels and the other channels vary from poor to unwatchable. This is the only issue with the booking. If you don't want to watch TV, I would recommend the room but if you do, I wouldn't book. A 9/10 with a functioning TV.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel. Large car park and we were able to park earlier than our check in time.

First off the description and amenities need changing as this is not a budget hotel it's a terrace house of multiple occupancy that you get a private room in. We would have left immediately and did try other hotels in the city but most were booked up due to football or the opening of sister act. You get a text message for the code to your RM key box. This gets you in the front door and your room. Which means everyone staying there has access to your room when you're out. THERE IS NO PARKING ON SITE as it's directly on the street, you have to park on a residential side road. THERE'S NO RESTAURANT, NO ROOM SERVICE. There was only 2 full size teabags and 2 milk sticks for use in 2 espresso cups. No sugar or coffee certainly no tea maker or coffee machine as advertised. Bed was up against a wall and was a cheap metal small double with what has to be the thinnest most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on and I was in the Army for years. We couldn't sleep so left early before the room that served breakfast opened. We weren't looking forward to breakfast anyway as the juices were left out all night as you could see the set up through a door. This place is NOT A HOTEL ITS A HOSTEL WITH WIFI.
