We were gobsmacked at the size of the house and the size and qualities of all the bedrooms. We were very comfortable and accommodated. This is a great house to use for various generations to come together as there is a toilet and bedroom at the ground room for those struggling with stairs, there is also several living rooms so you can get privacy if you want it. Ballater is a beautiful place to visit and the house is 2mile walk from the bus stop, co-op and takeaways, although is quiet and safe at night.

Nothing to complain about to be honest.

We have had a great week stay at the Buckled Barn the property was easy to get to and in its own grounds The outside space was well equipped and clean The house had everything we could need for our week and was spotless throughout I couldn't fault anything it's one of the best properties we've stayed in and David the owner welcomed us when we were settled Thank you so much We will definitely stay there again hopefully a bit longer next time

Having to leave such a great home

The central location of this apartment could not be better. It is in a prime position on the promenade overlooking the sea with a brilliant bakery and ice cream shop seconds away. It is also close to some very good restaurants…. No taxi home required Parking availability was great. Views from the apartment were stunning - either to watch the waves crashing in to the shore, people watch or admire the sunsets.

A pretty house very close to the shopping centre and beach. Pubs and restaurants in the doorstep you don’t need a car. Very comfortable beds, the twin at the rear has a step up bunk bed which is full size and two adults can use it. We enjoyed sitting in the garden for drinks. Responsive owner who immediately dealt with small issues.

Fantastic customer service - couldn’t ask for anything else. Helped me get a easy access room as I was travelling by bike and even got the breakfast on early when I said I had an early start

Location works if you are travelling on route to somewhere but near busy motorway

It’s in a great central location with lovely rooms. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly and the breakfast was delicious with good quality produce.

The bathroom was lovely and was spotlessly clean but unfortunately it does lack water pressure so the shower itself was a bit of a struggle. The room overall was beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. My only negative would be that it was a little dark.

The beach in Caister was lovely, but 15 minutes walk to the beach in Hemsby because of erosion of the cliffs.

The complex was very quiet with only a few people on it. There was nothing going on around the area, possibly because of the poor weather.

The beds, the location, the staff

Our room was really hot and we couldn’t seem to cool it down even when setting the digital thermostat to 17c
