Upgraded to hotel room on arrival. Spacious bedroom with comfy beds. Tea/coffee facilities and a fridge and safe in the room. The wardrobe had internal light which was very handy. Lovely hot water for a bath. Adjustable radiator in bedroom to get comfortable temperature. Used the on-site restaurant for dinner and had a lovely Italian meal. Great location on the river with a working water wheel. Not far from the bus stop into Bath and buses regular- last return 11.45pm from the main bus station (03 or 13). Canal ten minutes up the road and can walk this route into the city centre. Beautiful area.

Hotel not well sign posted on arrival. Sharp turn directly before the toll bridge. A lot of noise in the morning just after 7am which appeared to be drilling from maintenance or possibly cleaning staff. Parking is quite tight in places.

Location was great and lovely to have a thoughtful welcome package with local produce that included Welsh cakes and local brewery beer. We didn't find the restaurant downstairs to be an issue noise wise which was great. Washing machine was a bonus and nice large shower and smart appliances and style.

Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable with dips and could feel the springs, felt like a very basic mattress. Also it was cold trying to sleep as for some crazy reason there was a 4.5 tog duvet on the bed (in spring with temps still very low) I could understand a summer duvet being on in the summer but it was early spring but it was nowhere near warm enough, and the owner needs to please address this. There was the thinest throw on the bottom of the bed and this unfortunately made no different for heat. Pillows were lumpy too. Great little studio but the comfort needs to kindly be addressed. Apartment could have been cleaned better as was very dusty and needed a good deep clean. If these issues were addressed I would definitely come back, just some simple adjustments I hope will be taken on board.

This was the best stay I’ve ever had, it felt so homey and comfortable. The apartment was cleaned to perfection and amazingly furnished inside. The owners were very swift in communication and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Lovely, friendly staff - very professional. Spotless well presented room. Very good breakfast choice and evening meals were also enjoyable. The hotel was also in an excellent location within the town.

Room windows had an opaque finish all over so it was impossible to see out. Quite claustrophobic. We would rather look out of clear windows, even if overlooked and not a very nice view. We would have liked our own choice to close the net curtains if we wished. This possibility should have been made clear upon booking. The music played in the hotel Bistro was a little too loud and extremely repetitive - not at all suitable for a relaxing meal but we appreciate that this is just a matter of taste and other guests may have enjoyed it.

.the bathroom was very small and the storage space was poor (no drawers )just a few shelves .Thought it was because it' was a single room,but was informed it was the standard double size.compzred to other chains I've stayed at ,it' has the worst rooms
