Spacious room and bathroom , great shower Lots of space for clothes Well equipped kitchen Lots of various lights, especially liked the 4 above breakfast table Comfy large bed Netflix, wonderful, do not have television at home. Clean in side and out side, liked the light out side of apartment Quiet area, felt safe.

The sitting area was very stained and looked dirty so watched television sitting on bed No tea towel or hand towel for kitchen and could not find can opener, maybe in dish washer Only used the big towel as the other two were stained The bedding seemed too small so was not able to keep tidy especially bottom sheets

We booked this on the day and got a great price. Had a lovely big room - the family room was actually cheaper than a standard room. Drove to Dursley for a meal - lovely village.

This did not affect my stay but the hotel looks shabby from outside. It could do with repainting. Just to make you aware, the hotel is on the northbound carriageway. So if you want to go south, you have to drive 8 miles north, get off the motorway and then get back it.

Location was good for where we needed to get to. Beds were comfortable, and there was no road noise

We had a club room which was very tired and much smaller than expected. Only big enough for one chair. Small changes could improve the overall quality of the room. Such as making sure that the curtains are not hanging off, changing the shower heads and making sure that what's supposed to be in the room is actually there. In the Executive Lounge the coffee machine was obviously not working but not attended to without us having to ask for it to be filled up. The hotel rating leads you to expect more all round than you actually get.

Pictures are definitely when it was first done, abit well worn now, seats have gaffa tape on them, tables/area in main place in cafe etc not as cleaned as most cafes etc. but it’s a hostel but I just washed it down and moved stuff myself.
