Positive section of review
Keys were in a safe box and instructions given beforehand so made it easy when we arrived. Apartment looked fine when we arrived but then the word ‘Luxury’ soon disappeared. Location is awesome on the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the apartment very spacious with great views of the harbour.

Found a dirty pair of underwear on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived. Not the best start in our Luxury Apartment. No Hand towel in the bathroom was annoying as had nothing to dry our hands on. No Tea Towel to dry anything, really should be provided. Glasses were mismatched and some were broken and had cracks which couldn’t be used. Very noisy on kicking out time as your opposite a pub. I find when using the word Luxury it should live up to the name but it certainly isn’t Luxury.

Good location near shops and restaurants, free parking, friendly staff, big rooms, comfy beds, clean linen. Lowest price I could find in the area so not bad value considering that. Didn't eat at restaurant but food smelled good and reasonable prices.

Smelt a bit stale/tobacco smokey. Could have been cleaner - lots of dirty marks and handprints in bathroom which wasn't exactly the end of the world, but quite a few hairs (not my colour/length) around bath, which was a bit unpleasant when I had a bath and the hairs and other things (don't want to know what) were floating around me. Same thing in both rooms we booked. I'm sure the staff would have cleaned it more if we'd asked because they were very friendly but we didn't have time. Doors/walls not very soundproof, or maybe the guy next to me just had his TV unreasonably loud. Would have liked a power outlet near the bed. Cleaner started cleaning my room before I checked out (well before check out time) when my stuff was still in there which made me feel uncomfortable - I have worked in housekeeping and was never allowed to do that if belongings are still in the room before check out. They were friendly and apologised and left to let me pack up, but I still felt rushed. I also wanted a quick nap before check out but they had already made a new bed so I couldn't. Overall these things aren't enough to put me off staying again, certainly no worse than any budget hotel chain, but wouldn't if the price was any higher.

Super nice hosts! Their homemade banana cake and English breakfast are quite tasty! The bed is the best! We don’t wanna get up and we nearly miss the breakfast🤣 Plus, they have cute dog and cat!
