Never went for breakfast, cause the looks of the shared toilet and shower put me off eating anything in that place. Was staying there to rest and get freshened up before a long flight to Turkey but had a bad sleep and a scary shower experience, thought I would leave with veruccas so had to keep on my sliders on.

The whole place I didn’t like. There was a hair in one of the beds so I dint relax thinking I was lying in a un changed bed. Staff at the door wasn’t good at talking English he told me in an awkward way. Should have paid extra n stayed near the airport.

The room and bathroom had clearly been recently refurbished and was excellent with double aspect windows. It just needed blackout blinds as the white Venetian blinds did not cut out the early morning sunlight. The location was excellent as we were there for a performance at the Opera House.

The receptionist remained seated at a desk 6 t0 8 feet away from reception and it would have been nice for her to have come to the desk to deal with us. The cocktail bar was drab and poorly furnished really uninviting to spend any time there. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, the cafetière was falling apart and allowed coffee grains to into the cups. Empty buffet supplies, beans, eggs and hash browns were very slow to be replenished. There were only 2 waiting staff and as a consequence tables were left uncleared and couples were having to use tables set for 4 people.

Fabulous location and spotless rooms with huge TV ! Bathroom was newly renovated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Hosts were available for anything needed and were a pleasure to deal with.
