Warm reception on latish arrival, but quickly arranged for us to have a meal. Booked Highlander having visited with a coach party at 20224 New Year and seemed an obvious place to break our journey home. Peter & Janet.

Friendly and accommodating staff, clean room, hot and strong shower, great value for money. Yes there's no lift but I knew that in advance, so all good!

Unfortunately we werent told about the road and harbour works going on right outside the hotel. It did spoil our stay in this lovely hotel.

Nothing. However had a one km trek down a single lane with high hedges. (Even longer when GPS selects the shortest route.)

Not a dislike but just in case an older person or someone with mobility difficulties might not like just a bath with a shower over the top was bit difficult to wash your hair.

The first room didn’t have any aircon and was in the basement. The room was very hot so asked to move to another room. The second room was damp and smelt horrible and the air con wouldn’t turn off. This room was also in the basement. The third room was average and also in the basement, not worth the price we paid. We went through 3 rooms before we found one we were comfortable in, this seemed to be inconvenience to the staff. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
