The cottage is tucked away from the main street but within walking distance of the main square, the High Street and all the shops. Secluded garden, and the interior was delightfully furnished. Access to the property was easy as the host met us there, and all communications were immediately responded to. Cottage has everything you could need, an impressive kitchen and cosy living space and bedrooms. Thoughtful touches everywhere.

Lovely friendly staff. The head waiter made me the perfect espresso. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were inedible and served on one sad piece of horribly cheap sliced bread. The coffee was nasty. The room was huge, extremely comfortable bed and the largest bathroom I’ve had in any hotel room. Double showers too.

Food is terrible. Staff seemed run off their feet probably doing the work of a few people. Different times I guess? Even so they were delightful and couldn’t be more welcoming. Please leave more than just two teabags in the rooms. The location is far away from the city and not easy to find. My sat nav took me down a track!

There was no trash can and drinking cups in the room. Breakfast servers selectively direct people to sit down."Breakfast included" was selected, but you had to pay for a normal breakfast. Black instant coffee and toast were "free". The extra breakfast egg was raw and the bacon very salty, the food was not eaten.

Mattress was hard, like wood, everything was tired and worn. Atlantic restaurant and spa were closed, very limited menu, staff spoke little English, messed up orders and were very focused on my tab.
