We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

We used the washing facility all our clothes came back clean ironed & folded smelling fabulous So look no further Beautiful place Beautiful people Thanks and look forward to coming back soon”

      This hotel is the best hotel we have been in Hitchin. Staff is brilliant,so very helpful and friendly.Room is very clean and feels so comfortable. Breakfast, you couldn't ask for more everything spot on So very happy thank you so very much

      Nice, modern and spacious place for two people. The family that own the annexe also seemed lovely. Easy enough to get into Bath city centre - very helpful having the bus stop 30 seconds / 1 min walk away.

      We ended up needing to get our own toilet roll as we were only provided with one and a half rolls upon arrival. Also no shower gel provided, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Pillows were not overly comfortable, if there had been the option of feather pillows it would have been preferred. Didn’t feel there was much privacy unfortunately as the bedroom backs immediately onto the ground floor of the family’s back garden, so we had to keep the roller blinds completely shut in the morning until we were fully up, dressed and ready.

      Perfect location just a few steps from the Palace Pier and the National Express bus stop. Employees very sympathetic and helpful, even opening a separate cozy room for uś to enjoy our recommendable breakfast

      The hotel is right next to the South Terminal, so only 10 mins taxi ride to the North Terminal. Its a lovely looking hotel from the Outside

      We had to close the blinds as our view was a large, dirty oil tank and loads of rubbish. We were on the ground floor near reception, so we could hear people walking around all night. The room was extremely hot - We had to put the fan on all night and it was still boiling! It was awful 😖 and we didn't sleep much to be honest. The reception staff were not very good at all. We had had trouble prior to staying with a double payment being made, the manager ( Sharon) appears to be the only member of staff with any common sense. The woman who dealt with us wasn't particularly friendly. We had prebooked a taxi, which didn't arrive. We had to pressurise her to call the taxi company. She didn't appear to want to do much at all, another 2 couples were complaining as well. When we complained about the heat, we were told that that particular room was just hot, and that there was nothing she, as a lowly receptionist could do about it...........she explained that the owner didn't really care about the hotel so there was little point in complaining further! It took us 20 mins to locate her to start with. Not impressed at all. The interior of the hotel is shabby, and needs a lot of money spent on it. The room we were in looks like it was formerly a staff room, it shouldn't be let out to paying guests really, we wondered why a large fan was left in the room and soon discovered why. The oil tank view is awful, and you have to close the windows as the noise of it is quite load as well as the aircraft taking off, which isn't the hotels fault as thats just the lication. We won't stay again next time we fly to be honest.

      It was absolutely FILTHY! Would not recommend anyone staying there. Food stains on kitchen counters, dirty utensils and cups. Had to clean everything we wanted to use as they had food/drink residue on them. The description states the kitchen is fully equipped but only had three forks, although the property is advertised for six people. Oven too dirty to put anything in it. Hair on the bathroom floor, dirty bath mat which clearly hasn’t been changed for a long time, broken bath. Property description was promising shower gels, shampoo etc none of it was found, except from 2 toilet rolls. Mould on windows which you could smell as soon as you walked through the front door. Bed sheets weren’t fresh either and smelled bad. Broken dinning table.
