Everything! After an unexpectedly long day, it was lovely to arrive to a warm friendly welcome. Room was presented beautifully, with thoughtful touches, e.g. pillow chocolates, availability of small personal items should you need them. The attention to detail denoted experience & attention to detail. Even though we arrived late, Keith took the time to fully explain everything we needed to know, and also enquired if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. The room was toasty warm, and the bed very comfortable. In the morning, Janice greeted us just as warmly as Keith. Breakfast was excellent & huge! The quality of the locally sourced produce and butchery items was amazing, again the attention to detail was amazing. Janice provided us with a lot of local advice, invaluable! We wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks very much Janice & Keith!

The staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful, and it had a balcony, the bathroom was stunning and had everything you would need, the shower was perfect, very powerful and a nice heat. The room comes with a coffee machine with pods, 2 bottles of water, a packet of crisps, biscuits and chocolate. Very welcoming. The hall way to the rooms was so fancy and different to most hotels I've stayed in, the lift was very funky and covered in fake grass walls and a magnet board it was definitely something to write home about. I loved the location of the hotel, very close to everything in the centre. As well as the south Kensington tube station. They have pizza service 24hours I ordered one at 11.30pm at night and it was lovely. Highly recommend the pizza. There are also nice restaurants nearby, close to the train station.

The room is very small and even though I was only staying 2 nights it was quite cramped but to fit that comfy bed in, it does make sense and you're not going to be staying in the room all the time either. Also the lights on the bathroom are very dim, I even tried turning the knob and it didn't do anything. I didn't enjoy the food in the restaurant, when I had dinner, the chicken wings didn't taste of a sticky chilli, it was more like BBQ, they had a weird taste to them too. And my main was very disappointing I got the butter chicken, I was expecting an Indian style meal to come out with big chunks of chicken in an Indian butter sauce and a side of rice, but nope, frighteningly it was like a ready meal you would buy from Tesco's or Iceland for £1, it was all mixed together, and compacted into a circular shape and hardly any chicken, plus it didn't taste at all like butter chicken but your bog standard chicken curry and the worst part hardly any chicken and not even big chunks, I was scraping through the rice looking for it. And the garnish was lots of parsley in a circle around the circular compacted rice cake thing. It was not nice, but I was Hungry and I ate it but feel like I was ripped off as the whole dinner cost £30, literally felt like I should have went to Iceland and spent £6 and cooked it all myself lol 😂 the 24hr bar wasn't what I expected it to be, the whole bar was completely closed off at night and you had to order from reception and sit in reception to have your drink. Not impressive on that part.

A fabulous hotel in a great location. We stayed in the deluxe double room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom had a shower and bath. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. A basic breakfast of ceral, toast or croissant was included but you could order a full English if you wanted. The sausages were from a local farm shope and were very tasty. The pub had a music night booked which we were made aware of but the music stopped at 11 and was not loud enough to stop you sleeping. Staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. I booked through Booking.com and they double booked us. Luckily it was sorted straight away but next time I will contact the venue myself to confirm.

Only downside was the lane down to the barn conversion as it wasn’t great access for hatchback vehicles. Which caused scrapping to under the bumper.

Bed had wooden frame at the bottom, so was little uncomfortable for my tall husband's feet. Biscuits provided with tea and coffee would have been nice added touch
