The room was reasonably large, with a sofa bed to sit on in the evening. Standard Wetherspoon meal menus and prices. Popular place for locals and tourists to eat. Food was of a good standard and well prepared. Parking is a short 5 minutes walk away. Very central for shops, restaurants and drinks in the centre of Bridport.

I queried our room with the receptionist, as I had been expecting a much larger one with a vaulted ceiling. Some of the Booking.com pictures for the room turned out to be for a different room, which apparently cost a much higher price. I felt the pictures of the room on offer were misleading. There are no pictures on the Wetherspoon's website, and the description for each type of room is identical.

The cold rooms. Having our heating turned off. And a stone cold breakfast served only 3 mins after the breakfast services started. No room in the restaurant on arriving in the evening and everything else in the town closed!

The location was excellent, just outside the city wall, near Northgate.

The shower was very difficult to control and we had some cold showers. No hot water at the kitchen sink. The access hatch cover above the shower was missing. The bed linen was tired and the fitted sheet was too small. The white Venetian blinds did not move easily or block the bright light immediately outside the windows. There was nowhere , except the floor in the living room, for putting our cases. Alex said in emails they’d respond if need be. We sent two messages but there was no reply.

I booked this property for a colleague who was staying in the area for work. Unfortunately, during her stay at the property, she was harassed for hours by someone knocking on her door starting at 2am. There was a party upstairs despite the accommodation stating it does not allow them. Due to this she did not feel safe staying in the property and vacated at 4am. I alerted the property manager who was extremely defensive and refused any kind of refund. I have reached out multiple times for a resolution and not been offered any. The manager stated I would under no circumstances get any refund in my first interaction with him, and I was extremely disappointed that despite us not using the property for the other 4 nights due to safety concerns, this manager is happy for young females staying along to be harassed on his property with zero effort to put things right.
