The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

I had the best experience. From the staff, to the caravan park, I cannot fault this establishment. I was made to feel at home from the point of collecting keys, to the morning we left. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday. We will definitely be returning later this year. Thankyou

I cannot find fault at all as my holiday was 100% stress free.

The property was close to Portree by car and surrounded by a beautiful landscape. David was a great host and always made sure that we were looked after. If you're lucky enough, you'll also get to meet Freddy - the cheerful pup (not often spotted, but very much appreciated).

The walls felt a little thin. Guests respect this however, I'm a light sleeper and this was no issue, but if someone is on a phone call you can hear quite a bit depending on where you stand in the room.

Preservation of Art Deco features. Location A special mention for the chef, meals were excellent. The waiting staff are well trained, maybe for working in the more formal setting of previous times.

1.Attempts to modernise not thought through.eg. removal of Reception desk. Combining customer services of reception with the bar area is inappropriate and a poor working environment for staff. 2.Absence of any indication of dog friendly areas in the public spaces eg sun terrace restaurant. 3.” Dumbing down” in the restaurant eg. self service ordering menu choices, poor quality paper serviettes. 4.A definite decline in standards since our previous vidit.

Property was well equipped, including in the kitchen. Great location, easy access to Falkirk, Edinburgh, and Stirling. Good space for family of 5. Board games were a hit with the kids.

The boiler wasn't switched on, so there was no hot water or heating initially. Found boiler and switched it on but no thermostat, so couldn't control temperature of radiators despite switching it down on radiators. Raised issue, and someone was supposed to come back to us about where it was, but no one ever did. The shower was luke warm at best. Children had baths as had hot water in baths, but neither I nor my partner like baths, so we had to have cold showers. Again, I raised the issue and told them about shower water temperature, but no one came back to us. The bathroom also smelt damp.

Lack of food/drink for sale - Water or Diet Coke from what I saw. Not the end of the world though.
