We booked this hotel based on location to a function we were attending. The best way to describe it is tired both inside and outside. It’s positioning will always bring people in but as an overall stay we would have preferred a Premier Inn in terms of room size and general appeal. The rooms are on the tight size with possibly the smallest bathrooms possible. Breakfast was adequate but not inspiring. The best aspect of the hotel apart from the location are the staff who were friendly and helpful. We are frequent hotel visitors and found this hotel just about acceptable for one night but would not repeat our visit.

Bedroom and bathroom size. The hotel is tired and required an update. Breakfasts are totally uninspiring.

Nice accommodation and good hospitality. Teresa, our hostess, was very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. Due to our early morning departure, we were provided with high quality fresh breakfast packs for our journey.

Good value for money , clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet spacious room, particularly great to have a bath after a long wet day of walking.

Great location. Friendly bar staff, and lovely bar area to sit and relax.
Negative section of review
* room extremely small and cramped. Add luggage to the equation and its just uncomfortable. * No room tea/coffee making facilities. Needed to go down to the foyer to make a drink. Very inconvenient. * No water offered in the room refrigerator * No power point next to the bed. * Difficult to contact reception from the room. They actually never picked up when I rang and needed each time to get dressed and get the lift down. * Single bed was hard

Bed was quite comfy despite the pillows being too thin and soft
Negative section of review
The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny as well. The access to the room upstairs was quite inconvenient as the stairs were steep and narrow. Breakfast at £15/day per person was not worth the price, imho. Also, the location is not very convenient if you are commuting to Central London. Too bad The Lodge Hotel - Putney did not meet our expectations

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast.

Service was very slow in the bar and restaurant in the evenings. Very short staffed so caused a 15-20 min wait to order drinks and food.
