We treated ourselves with a stay at Uno booking the Sunset Suite. It was more than we would generally pay, but it came up to our expectations. Being on the top floor the views of St Ives were incredible. The location of the house meant that we were only 15 mins walk from most go-to places in the town. Parking, whilst tight, was a huge bonus. Lorena and Dan, who own the property, looked after us very well.

Our room had been recently renovated and the room size was enormous. There was a Nespresso coffee machine as well as complimentary biscuits. Something we have not been provided with at a five star hotel in London. It was close to transport and many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was also great.

Layout of the rooms is a little complicated. We needed to go up a few steps to reach our room.

Room very comfortable and staff pleasant on both occasions used for this trip. Helpfully organised transport to airport - ready and waiting at entrance ready for departure. Restaurant for evening meal good with reasonable choice. Soundproof room.

I liked the gates at the front, i felt very secure, the back garden was nice and big with clothes liners which was helpful to hang clothes outside also nice little snacks left in a basket in the kitchen!

I didn't like that it wasn't as clean as described and by people who previously stayed there who left feedback saying how clean it was it actually wasn't for me and my family, the bathroom around the toilet and shower area was dirty and so was the toilet too, i was not happy about that at all. Also it was pretty dusty too!

It is very well located. The room has an Iron and an adapter for electricity which is a blessing.

On despite of the title, I didnt realize I was actually sharing the floor which was a let down even though the landlady was lovely. Also the bed is one of these bed-couch, its comfortable but too close to the ground, not recomendable if you have back issues.
