Positive section of review
breakfast was great. The room was large and clean. The wifi came and went so you had to keep signing in. The staff were friendly. Don't forget to put your do not disturb sign on your door last thing at night otherwise they will knock to see if you are still in the room, quiet early.

Cost of parking. We needed to go out every day and pay £8 to park in the community car park. Had to get there before 8am, not ideal when you are on holiday. There was a lower car park for long stay at £4 a day.

The staff were all excellent, very attentive and polite. We ate here, the food was very nice but slow coming. It was quite busy in the restaurant which is probably why. The hotel is also perfectly placed for the Opera House.

Sadly there was one bad point, that was the mattress in our room which was absolutely awful. You could feel every spring in it which meant not a wink of sleep for neither my wife or I.

To get the key you have to go to an old dirty lockbox on the floor of the street where there are loads of other lockboxes and no indication as to which is yours. Blinds were broken, couldn’t close properly. Beds and pillows uncomfortable. When shower was on, leaked on the bed below. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Dirty - lots of dust around, dirt on floor

The shower was awful. Just a trickle. Unusable really. Shower door broken. No wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. Plumbing awful very noisy when pulling flush or turning on tap. Extremely noisy from other rooms. Walls so thin could here everything. Lots of banging of doors.
