The staff made this place especially the manager who listened to our concerns and was attentive to our needs. Breakfast was good and evening food also. Nice to have welcoming small bottle of Prosecco and beer and bottled water and shortbread. Fresh milk was also welcome in fridge in room. Especially liked cafetiere in room with ground coffee. Good choice of teas. Good size room with armchairs. We did enjoy our stay but feel it could have been better.

The shower in our room fell off the wall as only attached by blob of sealant and we were concerned to see duct tape around wall lights and asked for either refund or new room. Gave us another room that was in newer part of accommodation so we stayed 5 nights we'd booked. Such a shame though that every day maintainance isn't regularly checked. Our new room was mostly fine but seals on plugs had gone so had to keep taps running. Light bulbs had blown in bathroom. Had to leave sign on door to alert cleaner to clean room but there was no handle and they missed the sign left on the floor. Only 3 hangers on small rail for clothing and nowhere to put suitcases. Would have preferred wardrobe instead of large plastic plant taking up valuable space.

This property is amazing. Felt like coming home at the end of each day. I wasn’t feeling well and the owner was so lovely and didn’t make me feel awful when I couldn’t finish my breakfast. I am really appreciate of how comfortable to property is and all the little touches they add. It was a lovely stay, super comfortable bed, and great location.

Pool was an hour late opening. We ate in the resturant and although the food was OK it was not up to the standard it should have been . I had the hake and the sauce was like water
