Had a very nice sea view room, which was basic but comfortable and clean.The food at breakfast and dinner was very good. All the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and professional. The location of the hotel was good with excellent views of the sea.

We found the steps to the entrance of the hotel very awkward when trying to carry luggage into the hotel. Also when taking a drink from the bar to the patio was quite a challenge. We noticed other people struggling with the steps as well. After climbing the steps you had to negotiate 2 doors which were very heavy with strong springs.

As it’s a beautiful old building, you can hear other guests as they come and go. This wasn’t an issue for me as I sleep with earplugs in, but my husband did notice this (didn’t really disturb his sleep though)

Booking.com not responding to my messages about my anfield accommodation stay the week before what didn't happen . Room had other people's rubbish in, dirty used towels, no one would answer phone , when they did I had already booked for brownlows , but now still £50 down. The bad side of pre payment
