Winterberry Barn is beautiful The small details Suzy and Jon have made to the barn made it so much more special. We arrived later than we planned, Jon welcomed us and showed us around the barn. The interior of the barn is of a high standard, and we love the uniqueness, colour scheme, and lighting. We arrived to a bottle of Prosecco on ice, which was a lovely touch! We fell in love with Winterberry, you could certainly live there! Suzy and Jon thought of everything you would need to stay there. It's spacious but still cosy. The outside looked magical at night with all the lights, the fire pit, and the hot tub was great! Jon recommended some pubs to eat in and walks to go on. The Wheatsheaf Pub is a 10-minute walk and does great food. We also had a Sunday roast at the Dog and Crook, which is a 5 minute drive from Winterberry, again, great food. We spent an afternoon in Romsey itself, again a beautiful town with great shops, cafes, and walks. Will definitely be going back!

There isn't anything bad I could say about Winterberry Barn or the hosts. I just wished we had longer than the 4 nights we booked!

Beautiful view and the private beach was idyllic. Despite being near the very busy road we were well shielded from traffic noise in the cottage and the beach.

The food could be better, you could tell it was mass produced for that particular chain of pubs. In the evening we ate at the Hotel the first night but it made us decide not to eat there again. There was nothing to complain about during the meal, we just knew there must be better quality options for the same price range elsewhere in the village, which was proved to be right The breakfast was ok and reasonable when considering it was included in the room price.
