The room is beautifully clean and well equipped with an amazing shower, a private entrance and a parking spot. A kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and crockery and cutlery mean that you can prepare food and eat in the property if you wish to. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and even a bottle of water and milk were available on arrival. Private and within easy walking distance of Braunton shops pubs and restaurants. Great place to stay if visiting the area.

The location is a stone's throw away from Earl's Court Underground, yet it is around a quiet corner very quiet and quaint away from the hustle and bustle. Laundry and cooking facilities are available, with hairdryer and iron, all of which are greatly appreciated. Minimal interaction with staff, there were many guests but you couldn't really tell as we rarely saw them. Nothing to complain really, absolutely 💯

Walls were a tad thin. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

Birkdale retreat was absolutely wonderful for our stay over Easter weekend. It accommodated our 2 families perfectly and we really enjoyed the time we spent there. Very close to Birkdale train station, and easy to get to Southport on the bus or taxi from there. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Great sized room and bathroom. Could have done with a second chair and larger space for hospitality tray, kettle, etc.

Good good - very good pack lunch as we were walking Hadrians wall.

Not their fault, but as they allowed dogs, a dog in room beside mine kept barking - but then it could be a baby so not a bad thing, just annoying at the time.
