Most the staff were amazing and welcoming. Over my long stay I got to know some of the staff; the housekeepers Carissa and Rita were amazing and made sure my room was topped up with the complimentary’s and kept tidy for me. Receptionist’s Ahmed and Martin were very helpful and polite. The building is amazing and historical, full of quirks which I enjoyed.

Who I believe to be the maintenance man was quite rude but don’t think it was intentional he’s probably just a grumpy guy. I overheard Two bald guys who I believe to be management type fellows being very rude and aggressive towards their amazing staff members who I got to know and made my stay very welcoming and enjoyable.

Lovely hotel. An excellent location right in the town centre so really convenient for tourists and can walk everywhere. Emma at reception went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as possible. Lifts went up to all floors which was great with luggage. Rooms looked newly renovated and a high standard.

-Safe storage space for my bike inside or at the back of the hostel- not in the rain. -10 minute's from botanic train station. -Tea, coffee, sugar and milk available all day. - Ulster museum (free) and the botanical park is only 10 minutes from the hostel. Excellent location and friendly staff.

A lovely room with excellent facilities and a great sea view. A really friendly host who was only too happy to recommend where to go. A great location for exploring the area and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and pub. A tasty breakfast to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is beautiful and I love that it has been kept in the traditional style. Breakfast was pretty good (apart from the sausage). The surroundings are stunning.

The room desperately needed decorating. The bathroom was tiny—rip out the bath and put in a shower, which would allow the owners to move the sink into the bathroom. The bed was awful—buy a firmer mattress. Also, get locally sourced sausages—game changer!

Close to Buckingham Palace and the theatres. Possible to walk everywhere from there. Easy access to Victoria underground and main line rail.
