Fantastic location. Visited quite a few local attractions based from here (alton towers, Buxton, Chester Zoo to name a few). All the amenities you would need are provided for a comfortable stay. Welcome brochure provided with a little history on the property and all the useful information you would typically find. Lovely garden terrace however the weather wasn't to favourable during our stay to use it. The view was amazing to wake up to every morning. Highly recommend if wanting a quiet break or as a sightseeing/walking base. There is parking for up to three cars (1 outside and a further two just past the property off the road). Would definitely return when back in the area.

The room was small, but it was a good size for 2 people. The hotel was pretty silent, the location is good, there are restaurants, supermarket and a mall nearby. I would stay again. I also liked the contactless check in.

There were only one toilet and shower for the rooms that dont have private bathroom, I tried to find another onde when it was occupied and couldn't find. There are stairs, which wasn't a problem to us because we only had small bags, but if you carry big luggage it may be a problem.

Bar closed on floor 3 again, sky bar then closed at midnight and I felt the security were a little too in our faces when advising the bar was closing, came over maybe 4 times on a countdown, I don't need telling more than once Shower not great ( room 717)

Overall good but landing light outside Room (42) so a little inconvenient, breakfast also very good.

Landing light on all night outside room - appreciate it's luck of the draw but could be switched off after, say Midnight. Poor table manners of guests leaves something to be desired. Appreciate you cannot be blamed for that but guests who belch whilst eating breakfast is inexcusable, also sitting there with bare feet whilst not wearing sandals also in poor taste and standing up to adjust his trousers in an improper way - again not your fault, maybe should be impressed upon guests that standards need to be upheld.

It was advertised as having WiFi but we could not get any signal we rely on our phones so this was unacceptable we did speak to staff but they said it should be OK, we did not stay at the property we left the same evening as we arrived and booked somewhere else
